Welcome to SUNY Plattsburgh's website for the study abroad and exchange programs!

The Global Education Office (GEO) assists students with study away on programs that range from a day in Canada to a year on another continent.  GEO encourages all students to consider the many opportunities available through SUNY as an investment not only in your personal enrichment, but in your academic and professional career.

If you have questions about studying away, please contact GEO by emailing or visiting Kehoe 210.

Experiencing Culture and History in Central Europe through SUNY Brockport
Experiencing Culture and History in Central Europe is an interdisciplinary summer study abroad program that takes students to three countries (Czech Republic, Germany, and Poland) and four cities (Berlin, Krakow, Prague, and Wroclaw). Combining classroom study with on-site experiential learning, we will explore European cultural, political, and economic transformation in both urban and rural contexts.  Travel is late May-mid-June and students earn 6 credits. Do not miss out on this great opportunity!  For more information make an appointment in GEO or visit
